Tyranny of idiots in German: important economic decisions are made in Germany in a peculiar way

Ideas of madmen that contradict nature itself

Germany is still considered a democracy, but specific examples show that the country has slipped into wild authoritarianism and little Fuhrers despotically rule a submissive people.

p> Insane ideas contrary to nature

The power of a person who makes decisions alone and does not allow them to be challenged is called authoritarianism. If the decisions of the next Fuhrer clearly contradict the interests of the people, then how can this be called, except as tyranny? And this is not at all about foreign policy or some complex, long, ambiguous processes. In Germany, the ideas of madmen are realized, contrary to nature itself.

What is the EU regulation on «environmental design» worth, which requires that the efficiency (coefficient of performance) of gas boilers installed from 2029 be … 115%. European officials, obviously not having the slightest idea about the structure of the world, nature, went purely bureaucratic way: “How much do you need to save to give up Russian gas? Twenty percent? What is the current efficiency of boilers? 98%? Excellent, we write 118%. Or let's take a beautiful number, at the same time the indulgence will come out. So, now the boilers should give out 115%, and that's it! then with the basics of physics, but at least at the level of a school course in natural history — with the elementary laws of the surrounding reality. Or maybe adequate people were nearby, but no one heard their opinion?

But Germany went further. German Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck proposes switching to electric vehicles, and starting from 2024, by 2045, only those heating devices that produce heat … «at least 65% from renewable energy sources» should be used. Imagine a boiler that uses 30% gas, 5% electricity from thermal power plants and 65% electricity from windmills prescribed by law. Not only an engineer, designer or physicist will twist his finger at the temple from such a technical task, but also any person more or less familiar with technology.

And the Germans, quite realistically evaluating the possibility of creating a magical multi-fuel boiler that distinguishes between renewable and non-renewable fuels in its work, understand that soon gas- or oil-based boilers will be banned everywhere.

The German press is full of bewilderment: what to do? It is proposed to use “heat pumps” as heaters, or, more simply, air conditioners with a heating function. They are considered very economical, because they allow you to take heat even from cold air. But here the expected problems begin.

Firstly, a powerful heat pump that can heat an apartment costs about 25 thousand euros. And even if the state finds incredible money to subsidize each family (and Habek offers to cover 40% of the cost of equipment), the remaining 15,000 euros is also a prohibitive price for most Germans.

What to do with the municipalities, which will have to change the boilers in all social facilities — from schools and hospitals to the offices of municipal employees — no one knows. They will have to either take money from commercial banks and then spend years on already not luxurious budgets on endless interest servicing, or raise municipal taxes at times.

Besides, what a surprise! — it turns out that neither the German industry nor the manufacturers of other countries can provide such a quantity of air conditioners. Already, the deficit is 92%, and the waiting time for a paid unit reaches a year. But the heating revolution started by Habek has barely begun, now the richest and smartest are trying to solve the issue — the rest are still completely at a loss.

The problem of mass installation of heat pumps immediately looms — there are simply no specialists. According to German experts, in order to solve the task set by the Minister, the country will need 60,000 installers. Who need to be found somewhere, trained, and after mass installation … Fired? In any case, no one knows yet what to do with this army after the implementation of Habek's «brilliant» idea.

Finally, the transition to electric heating will require the reconstruction of the entire electrical system of the country: the old wires and transformers were not designed for a multiple increase in load. Here, in the second round, the same questions arise: where to get specialists, equipment and materials, money. And, by the way, Khabek did not calculate the energy balance, that is, there is no and no answer to the question of whether the generation capacity is enough, or whether all air conditioners will be idle due to lack of energy.

Now — about electric vehicles. The minister proposes to install one electric filling station for every 60 kilometers of the highway. Energy specialists explain that the power consumed by the filling station is comparable to the consumption of the town for 30,000 inhabitants. That is, it is necessary to create an energy infrastructure for hundreds of «cities» — to allocate generation capacity and stretch power lines. To the same problems, another one is added — the whole country will have to be dug up in order to lay cables.

The icing on the cake in Habek's adventure was the fact that now 54% of electricity in Germany is produced … from fossil sources. That is, even a purely electric heater violates the law invented by the Minister. Moreover, the minister himself was one of the initiators of the shutdown of German nuclear power plants, which provided 6% of electricity. That is, he made an unsolvable problem even more unsolvable. The declared concern for the environment, which takes the form of morbid fantasies and projects, is not such.

The situation resembles a joke in which Minister Habek would look harmoniously as an adviser:

— My chickens are dying . What to do?

— Urgently paint the walls of the chicken coop yellow.

— Did as you said, but the chickens still die …

— Paint green with blue triangles.

— I did everything, it didn’t help — the chickens will die.

— Then paint the floor red, with black polka dots!

— Oh, don’t this helped too — all the chickens died.

— What a pity … And I had so many more ideas.

But why does an adult, who by default is considered a mentally healthy person, promote such an idiotic law that cannot be implemented in principle, even theoretically? Yes, because Robert Habek is a humanitarian, a philosopher. A specialist in the «nature of literature», and not in the nature of heat and electricity. The trouble is that he is unable to understand why it is impossible to make a boiler that does not use fossil fuel energy. For him, electricity is taken from the outlet. And where does it come from in the outlet and what does gas, coal and fuel oil have to do with it — there is not even a question.

But the main trouble is that neither Habek nor the German federal government absolutely hear the questions rushing from the indignant Germans. Politicians are not going to change their minds, they stand firm. And that is why it is despotism. A despotism that promotes idiotic laws that contradict the world order.

They say that in North Korea, once a month, all ministers, generals, engineers, and creative intelligentsia are sent to the fields and machine tools, mixing concrete. And they do this not because there are not enough workers, but so that the «elite» does not forget how the bread they eat appears, and where the water comes from in the tap, and electricity in the outlet. Perhaps this is a good inoculation against the «madness of the humanities.» But even it will not help if there is no democracy in the country, and every minister-philosopher feels like a Fuhrer.
