SOCHI, June 12 AvtoVAZ plans to export 10-15 thousand Lada cars in 2023, up to 50 thousand in 2024 , said the president of the company Maxim Sokolov.

“We are just starting to rock our export programs. And they will largely depend on the readiness of our partners at the level of state regulation. <…> We have assembly facilities in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, they are ready to be launched, but certain state measures for technical regulation need to be taken there. If these measures are taken, the figure may increase, and so far it is within ten thousand, but we expect that if such decisions are taken in the near future, it may increase by 50%,” he said, commenting on the export of the current year.

At the beginning of the year, AvtoVAZ announced plans to export 30,000 cars in 2023. In February, Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and part-time head of the board of directors of AvtoVAZ, announced that the company's export program would be revised.
