Earlier, Pakistani Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan said that the order for Russian oil was placed after consultation with the American government, so there is no disagreement between Washington and Islamabad on this issue. According to the diplomat, Washington does not object to Pakistan's purchase of oil from Russia at a price that is within the price ceiling agreed by Western countries — Islamabad complies with this condition.
