MOSCOW, June 9 The State Prize for outstanding achievements in the field of literature and art for 2022 was awarded to the artistic director of the Choir Alexandra Permyakova, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation for Culture Vladimir Tolstoy, said.
“The State Prize of Russia for outstanding achievements in the field of art for 2022 has been awarded to the artistic director of the Pyatnitsky Choir Alexandra Permyakova,” Tolstoy said at a press conference in Friday.
The State Prize is the highest recognition of the merits of scientists and culture workers before society and the state. It is the main Russian award, having inherited this name from the State Prize of the RSFSR in 1992. In addition to monetary rewards (since 2020, the amount of the award has been doubled to 10 million rubles), the laureates receive a diploma, a badge of honor, and a tailcoat.
