The St. Petersburg garrison military court sentenced Vladislav Madaichikov, mobilized from the Leningrad region, to seven years in a strict regime colony, who refused to participate in the war in Ukraine. This is reported by the joint press service of the city courts.

Madaychikov was found guilty of desertion (part 3 of Article 338 of the Criminal Code), he was taken into custody in the courtroom. According to investigators, he was called up for service and sent to the front not far from the LPR. A man changed into civilian clothes, burned his military ID and began to live in an abandoned house, not far from which he buried weapons. He stayed there until November 1st. Later, taking a car from a woman unknown to him before, he left for the Rostov region, and from there he got home to the Leningrad region.

On November 10, Madaichikov voluntarily came to the military investigation department of the Investigative Committee for the St. Petersburg garrison, as a result, a criminal case was opened against him.
