There are many ways to recover — more than 75 schools participated in the festival. Experienced teachers revealed the intricacies of ancient philosophy and helped in practice — they held open-air master classes in the center of the capital.

Asanas and purpose

The load gradually increases. Here was an exercise that a girl attending fitness managed to do. Vignesh offers another variation of the pose. It gets harder. The next asana requires more dexterity. Stretching doesn't help anymore. And it's not just about how flexible the joints are.

Vignesh clearly agrees with Sammy Kotwani. The master admitted to the audience that yoga helps him restore balance and cope with negative emotions. And the guests of the festival do not disperse. There are more and more yoga mats next to the stage.
There were eight zones in total. After one session, they moved on to the next. For example, they hung in hammocks (one of the most fashionable practices among Muscovites). We listened to mantras in a kundalini yoga class. She, according to coach Oksana Artamokhina, definitely changes her outlook on life.

Interesting activities have also been prepared for the young guests of the festival. Including yoga. They signed up for classes from the age of five. Asanas were offered taking into account age.

Besides yoga, there were also master classes in meditation. One of them was conducted by Felix Pak, a surfer and author of metameditations.

«Meditation is a concentration of attention raised to such an extent that a person merges with the object of attention,» explains Felix Pak.

Meta is an all-encompassing value. Energy fills everything, it is the basis of the processes inside our body, the master clarifies. According to him, when we concentrate on this energy, starting to merge more and more with it, we get a synchronously working nervous system. This condition has a good effect on health and helps to cope with mental stress.

Massage and psychology

There is a queue for Ayurvedic facial massage. Yes, and how to miss the opportunity to get advice and learn this technique yourself. True, they do not promise a rejuvenating effect. “But at least the skin will age according to age,” says massage therapist Tina Mitusova. “There will be no premature effects.”

Ayurvedic massage is done on the whole body — it is difficult to repeat the entire procedure at home. Hot oil is usually used, and cold oil for the face, so as not to expand the pores.
There are no special contraindications for such a massage. But it is better to consult a doctor.

Practice at the festival was supported by theory, in particular, lectures on Ayurveda. The guests were also told about the moral principles of yogic psychology.

Trainer Ekaterina Ryshkus explains that memories sometimes weigh down the mind. For example, we may often recall painful situations and become attached to them. All this affects our lives — unconscious attitudes, patterns of behavior appear. In yoga, you can work with them, for example, through Heartfulness.
«This is meditation on the heart, but the mind is regulated — harmony is created, resonance between them, they begin to work smoothly,» says coach Olga Konovalova.

Melody of calmness

Dynamic meditation was held under the guidance of Shiva Girish, accompanied by the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls.

The master explained that many types of yoga require certain actions. And sound therapy itself transforms us: even if we just pass by, it still affects us.
