IEA: Russia's commodity revenues fell by $1.4 billion in May
At the end of May 2023, Russia's estimated oil revenue fell by $1.4 billion.
< p>According to analysts of the International Energy Agency (IEA), in the last month of spring, Russian commodity exporters received a total of $13.3 billion, which is 36 percent less in annual terms.
The material says that in May of this year, Russian oil exports decreased by 260,000 barrels per day to 7.8 million barrels.
Earlier, IEA analysts published a report according to which, following the results of May, oil production in the domestic market of Russia decreased by 150,000 barrels per day to 9.45 million barrels.
The United States and the European Union previously introduced the so-called price ceiling for Russian oil at $60 per barrel.
