MOSCOW, June 13< /strong> The management of Soyuzmultfilm will be happy if the booth dedicated to Cheburashka at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will attract new partners for cooperation, as well as inspire promising collaborations, said Yuliana Slashcheva, chairman of the board of directors of the film studio.
Earlier, at the Expoforum in St. Petersburg, where preparations for the SPIEF are being completed, a stand was set up in the shape of huge Cheburashka ears.
Slashcheva noted that this year Cheburashka became an iconic character, the same hero who united millions of viewers at the screens.
«The picture is now being successfully shown in foreign countries, and we will be glad if the stand attracts new partners for cooperation, as well as inspires promising collaborations,» said Slashcheva, whose words are quoted by the press service.
In addition to the installation stand with a built-in conversation area, there will also be a street platform with an interactive opportunity to be present in one of the scenes of the film «Cheburashka» along with the character, the report says.
Eduard Iloyan, general producer of the Yellow, Black and White studio and the film Cheburashka, emphasized that the Cheburashka brand is over 60 years old, but today it is more relevant than ever. «The brand's universe is constantly expanding, so we are always open for partnerships. Our stand-installation can be an excellent platform to discuss possible cooperation — a licensing program, integration into the country's main family show Cheburashka, and much more,» Iloyan emphasized.
