The Swedes want to introduce a lifetime ban for playing in the KHL. It's just hysterical

The local hockey club «Brunhes» has initiated a life sentence a ban on performances for those players who continued to play in the KHL after the start of a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine. And we are talking not only about the Swedes, but in general about any hockey players.
Scandinavians at the head of the columnCrazy ideas do not dry out in Scandinavia. In July last year, the leader of the Finnish national team Lauri Kerminen was suspended from playing for the national team due to the fact that he played in Russia for Dynamo Moscow. The Finns admitted that they were disappointed with his decision and accused him of selling out for money. Nevertheless, Lauri continued to live and play in Moscow, spitting on the national team.

The situation with Swedish basketball player Jonas Jerebko, who faced discrimination at home because of playing for Moscow CSKA, turned out to be no less tough. Jonas signed a contract with the CSKA in early 2022 and played for the Muscovites until the end of the season.

However, since then he has not been able to find a new club. Jerebko on social networks said that he was on the «black list» of the Swedish Basketball Federation because of the game in Russia. In the federation itself, they noted that they expect sincere statements from the player.

What they came up with in BrunesThe level of delirium and idiocy in Sweden did not end there. This time it's about hockey. The Brunhes club is threatening to introduce a life ban for those players who dared to stay in the KHL after the start of the CBO.

“If you played in the KHL after this deadline for your own reasons, then you will never be able to play for Brunhes. Our proposal was announced at the annual meeting, it was supported by the entire board of the club. We want to make a long-term political decision that is beyond the principles of association,» Gefle Dagblad quoted part of Brunhes' statement.
The final decision has not yet been made, but, based on the foregoing, there is a high probability that it will be positive. What's more, the ban could apply to all Swedish clubs, not just Brunhes. Thus, the road to Sweden can be closed to dozens of cool hockey players. Here we are still exclusively about legionnaires from the KHL, the chances that Russians may want to go to Sweden now are simply scanty. Lilja famously played for Dynamo. Now, by and large, they and many others cannot play in Sweden if the relevant regulations are adopted in this country. And we are not talking about a temporary ban, but about a lifetime. And this is already some new facet of inadequacy.
The conflict in Ukraine will end, and what will the Swedes do then? In Slovakia, for example, they decided not to allow players who played in the KHL to the national team. In Sweden, they went even further. Surprisingly, the majority of North American hockey players remained in Russia, and some are still considering options for continuing their careers in the KHL.
