MOSCOW, June 13 International Documentary Film Festival about the heroes of the special military operation «RT.Doc: Time Heroes» will be held from July to December in seven cities of Russia, the press service of the festival reported.
Earlier, the first international documentary film festival «aRTel.doc: Time of Heroes» was held in Moscow on February 24-26, within its framework 25 films about the heroes of the NWO were shown. Now the films will be shown in Krasnodar, Kazan, Irkutsk, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kursk and Grozny.
“Our festival died down in Moscow not so long ago. Now we are taking our best films about the heroes of the country to other cities, and my countrymen will be the first to see them,” said Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the RT channel, her words are given in the message.
The festival will open in Krasnodar on July 12 with the premiere film by military documentary filmmaker Klim Poplavsky. This is the second film in the documentary cycle «Voyenkory» about the work of Russian journalists on the front lines. The best films of the official program of the film festival held in Moscow will be presented in each city. Among them is the first part of Artyom Somov's Military Correspondence cycle about the work of journalists Yevgeny Poddubny, Murad Gazdiev, Georgy Medvedev and Pavel Kukushkin.
«We want the festival's films to be seen by as many viewers as possible throughout Russia. These are films about heroes. About people who risk the most valuable thing — their lives — for our country, for us. There are heroes in every region. And The mission of the festival is to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the people in these difficult times,» said Ekaterina Yakovleva, head of RT documentary broadcasting and general producer of the festival.
It is expected that the premiere films and works of regional and foreign documentaries will be presented at the festival. In each of the cities of the festival, meetings with authors and film characters, lectures, master classes and round tables will be held.
