Films from China and Germany to be shown at documentary screenings in Moscow

MOSCOW, 13 Jun. Films from 20 countries will be shown at the ninth Docker International Documentary Film Festival, the press service of the show reports.
In the main competition, films from Armenia, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, China, Russia, USA and Central African Republic.
In the short film competition, entries from Bangladesh, China, Cuba, France, Portugal and Turkey. Three films will present Russia.

The festival will have a section dedicated to mental health «Doc Therapy». The audience will see four films. The screenings will be followed by discussions with psychologists and psychotherapists.

The Dock Station program includes domestic documentary projects.
“This year's films are winners and participants in prestigious film reviews in 2022 and 2023, including: Rotterdam Film Festival, Hot Docs in Toronto, Visions du réel in Nyon, CPH:DOX in Copenhagen, True/False in the USA and many more others,» the press release clarified.
Meetings, round tables and master classes are also planned.
The Docker Festival will be held from June 23 to July 2. It will be opened by the drama «Holy Dilemma» by Hungarian directors Julianna Ugrin and Marton Vizkeleta. Closing film — the detective thriller «Runaways» by Yulia Bobkova.

It was previously reported that the series with Stoyanov, Peresild and Barnabas were included in the Pilot festival competition.
