Both candidates do not have foreign agent status.
Earlier on Wednesday, the current mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, personally submitted documents to the Moscow City Electoral Commission for nomination as a candidate for the election of the mayor of Moscow.
Single voting day in 2023 in Russia is scheduled for September 10. On June 8, at a meeting, the Moscow City Electoral Commission decided to hold elections for the mayor of Moscow within three days from September 8 to September 10.
