MOSCOW, June 18 Seven people died in Ardabil province on north of Iran and two went missing in the area of the Chalus highway, also leading to the north of the country, Mehr reports, citing a report from the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic.

According to the agency, 12 provinces of Iran suffered from heavy rains this week, Ardabil was the most affected. Assistance was rendered to more than 5 thousand flood victims, more than a hundred people were provided with temporary housing.
