St. Petersburg, June 17 . Cultural figures who left Russia should be allowed to return and work for the good of the country, director Konstantin Bogomolov said in an interview at the SPIEF. We must be strong, and you can’t say in such a teenage insult: “Yes, and we don’t need it.” If people want, they are ready, if people understand that they made a mistake, then we need to give them the opportunity, I’m sure, we need to give them the opportunity to return and work in their country and for the benefit of their country and the audience,” he believes.
According to Bogomolov, the country always needs talented and energetic people, but he cannot be responsible for those who left or wanted to return. This is a personal matter of every person who makes this or that choice, the director noted.
