Among other things, diplomats were asked whether the statement would entail, for example, a summons of the Russian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry, or whether this could have consequences for the opening of a Russian diplomatic mission in Jerusalem.
The response of the press service of the Israeli Foreign Ministry turned out to be brief — the ministry stated that «so far will not comment on Putin's words.»
