MOSCOW, June 18 The Russian T-14 Armata tank, which could collide with the American Abrams in the conflict in Ukraine, has a big advantage — an uninhabited tower, wrote columnist Chris Osborne in an article for 19FortyFive.
As the journalist pointed out, the Armata is much lighter than the American Abrams, equipped with a thermal imaging sight that can detect and destroy targets during the day at a distance of up to five kilometers and up to three and a half kilometers at night,
He also noted that the Russian tank fires 9M119 Reflex projectiles, capable of penetrating up to 900 millimeters of armor.

A previously informed source said that the Russian Armed Forces began to use T-14 Armata tanks in the special military operation zone. He specified that the vehicles received additional side protection against anti-tank ammunition.
