«Poison cider again. A patient with symptoms of cider poisoning was admitted to the Kstovo Central District Hospital. The victim bought the poisonous drink a week ago and drank it last night. The diagnosis was laboratory confirmed,” he wrote.
The patient was urgently transferred to the regional toxicological center of the city hospital No. 33 in Nizhny Novgorod.
Thus, the number of victims of counterfeit alcohol in the region has grown to seven people.
Earlier, the department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod region reported that six residents of the region were poisoned by cider made in the Samara region. Four of them later died. The regional IC opened a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements.
