MOSCOW, June 23 In 2023, the United Aircraft Corporation will increase the supply of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters to the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, said General Director of UAC Yuri Slyusar.
«This year, the supply of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces will increase,» Slyusar said on the website of the Russian government.
Serial deliveries of the Su-57 began in 2022. By the end of 2024, the VKS should receive 22 fighters, by 2028 their number in the troops will be increased to 76.
The Su-57 is a fifth-generation Russian multifunctional fighter developed by the Sukhoi company. The machine is designed to destroy all types of air, ground and surface targets. It has supersonic cruising speed, internal weapons, radar-absorbing coating, as well as the latest set of onboard equipment.
