NOVOSIBIRSK, June 21 Novosibirsk businessman, director SEC «Edem» Vladislav Plotnikov submitted documents for the nomination of a candidate for the election of the governor of the region from «Fair Russia — For the Truth», the regional election commission reported in the telegram channel.
«Vladislav Plotnikov, a candidate from the Just Russia — For the Truth party, presented documents on the nomination of the head of the region to the Novosibirsk Regional Electoral Committee on June 21,» the election commission said in a statement.
Party leader in the Novosibirsk region, State Duma deputy Alexander Aksenenko told journalists that the Russians approached the election of a candidate fairly «meticulously» and had no doubts that Plotnikov would pass the municipal filter.
Earlier, on June 16, Andrei Shchukin from the «Communists of Russia» announced his participation in the regional elections, submitting a package of documents to the regional commission, on June 19 — Evgeny Lebedev from the Liberal Democratic Party, on June 20 — Roman Yakovlev from Communist Party.
Elections of the governor of the Novosibirsk region are scheduled for September 10 this year, they will be held within three days. Last Tuesday, «United Russia» nominated the head of the region, Andrei Travnikov, as a candidate from the party for the election of the governor of the Novosibirsk region. He has not yet submitted documents to the Regional Electoral Committee.
