The Moscow Railways confirmed sabotage on the Rostokino-Vladykino section in Moscow
The press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD) confirmed that unknown people attempted to set fire to railway equipment on the Rostokino-Vladykino section. At the same time, it is noted that the incident did not affect the movement of trains.
The message of the press service of the Moscow Railways states that at night on the Rostokino-Vladykino stage, employees of the security company discovered unauthorized persons who attempted to set fire to railway equipment. Representatives of the Ministry of Railways indicated that police officers were called to the scene, and the fire was extinguished by the fire train.
The press service clarified that the situation did not affect the movement of trains, and the railway equipment was not damaged. The Ministry of Railways reminded of the criminal liability of citizens for committing such offenses, urging them to report suspicious actions or persons at railway transport facilities to law enforcement agencies, or to the Russian Railways hotline.
