MOSCOW, June 24 Russian Premier League (RPL) monitors the development of the situation in Rostov-on-Don and in other regions and is in contact with all clubs and authorities, according to a statement on the official RPL Telegram channel.
Earlier, the football club «Rostov» appealed to the fighters of PMC «Wagner», who blocked the streets of Rostov-on-Don, with an appeal to prevent bloodshed in the city.

On Saturday night, the FSB Public Relations Center reported that all the information disseminated in social networks on behalf of Yevgeny Prigozhin about the missile and bomb attacks allegedly inflicted by the Russian Ministry of Defense on the «rear units of the Wagner PMC» is untrue and is an informational provocation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an address to the Russians, said that all those responsible for the attempt rebellion will suffer inevitable punishment, answer before the law and the people.He also noted that «decisive actions will be taken to stabilize the situation in Rostov-on-Don», where «the work of civil and military authorities is actually blocked.»
