MOSCOW, June 23 Any sanctions can be circumvented, and the losses for European business will multiply, the competition of economic losses will not be in favor of the West, said the deputy of the State Duma from » United Russia» Oleg Morozov.
The EU has introduced a new package of sanctions against Russia, which includes a whole range of additional economic and personal restrictions, as well as a mechanism to combat the circumvention of anti-Russian sanctions, which will be applied «as a last resort» against third countries.
«The main thing is that any sanctions are avoided. Not like that, it's different. But the losses for European business are multiplying, and you can't get around them. The competition of economic losses will definitely not be in favor of the West,» Morozov said.
He noted that the essence of this package is to limit the ability to circumvent previous sanctions, this «has been known for a long time.»
According to a document published in the Official Journal of the EU, three companies registered in Hong Kong (Tordan Industry Limited, Alpha Trading Investments Limited and Asia Pacific Links Ltd.), two legal entities from the UAE (I Jet Global DMCC, Success Aviation Services FZC), two from Uzbekistan (Alfa Beta Creative LLC, GFK Logistics Asia LLC) and one each from Armenia (Tako LLC) and Syria (I Jet Global DMCC).
