St. PETERSBURG, June 24 The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg was checked after a report of «mining», no suspicious objects were found, the press service of the museum reported.
Earlier it was reported that on Saturday the Hermitage received a message about the «mining» of the building. Visitors were evacuated from the territory of the Main Museum Complex. Museum security officers, together with employees of the National Guard, began checking the exhibition halls and office premises. It was reported that visitors with tickets for June 24 to the Main Museum Complex can visit the museum on another day.
«The employees of the museum security service together with the employees of the National Guard conducted an inspection of the exhibition halls and office premises, no suspicious items were found,» the press service of the museum reported.
