Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that Monday, June 26, will be a non-working day in the capital. His words are quoted by the Moscow agency.
“Dear citizens, a counter-terrorist operation regime has been declared in Moscow. The situation is difficult. In order to minimize risks, I, within the framework of the operational headquarters, decided to declare Monday a non-working day — with the exception of government bodies and enterprises of a continuous cycle, the military-industrial complex, city services,» the mayor said.
The regime of counter-terrorist operation (CTO) was introduced in Moscow because of the rebellion of the founder of Wagener PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin. Mediazona is following the developments in detail.
