MINSK, 23 Jun. A draft regulation on the procedure for selecting joint cooperation projects in industries and providing financial assistance for their implementation by the EAEU member states is planned to be prepared by September, the Belarusian state agency Belta reported on Friday.
«At the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, in September 2023, it was instructed to submit for consideration a draft regulation on the procedure for selecting joint cooperation projects in industries and providing financial assistance in their implementation by the member states of the EAEU,» the message says, citing the press service of the Belarusian government.
It is noted that at the meeting of the EEC Council, the Belarusian side voiced its position that a maximum (threshold) value of the subsidy should be established. This will make it possible to take into account the interests of all EAEU member states to the maximum.
In addition, according to the report, the EEC Council approved the creation of an electronic trade operator in the field of customs regulation. It will comprehensively provide the logistics of operations with goods purchased by individuals on Internet sites, as well as interact with Internet sites and customs authorities, accompanying the processes of customs declaration and storage of e-commerce goods.
According to the message, the annex to the rules for determining the country of origin of certain types of goods for the purposes of state (municipal) procurement has been supplemented with six commodity items for the industry «power engineering, electrical and cable industry» in relation to electrical capacitors (five items) and instrument transformers (one item) . Belarusian producers of this group of goods will have free access to public procurement in the Union countries, the report explains.
