MOSCOW, June 26 Industrial development remains a priority for Russia, President Vladimir Putin said in an address to participants and guests of the XI International Youth Industrial Forum «Engineers of the Future — 2023».
“The development and modernization of industry is our absolute priority. Therefore, we will continue to stimulate the introduction of the latest technologies, digital solutions, and advanced environmental standards,” the head of state stressed.
The Russian leader called for updating vocational education, training and retraining programs, including for backbone industries:
- mechanical engineering;
- industrial production and power equipment;
- robotics and electronics;
- shipbuilding and aircraft building;
- machine tool and instrument making.
The President stressed that the development of the domestic industry, strengthening security and technological sovereignty largely depend on personnel potential.
«It is these people — both young people and experienced specialists, the teams of our enterprises — who ensured the stable operation of Russian industry, its development in the face of severe external challenges, and achieved an increase in the production of the most important products for the life of the country — civil and defense,» Putin said.
The Head of State added that more and more young professionals are coming to Russian enterprises — competent, competent, creative and modern-minded, ready to take responsibility and offer non-standard solutions.
International The youth industrial forum «Engineers of the Future — 2023» is organized by the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia together with Rostec with the support of the Association «League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises», Rosmolodezh and the government of the Tula Region.
