MOSCOW, June 27 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed to submit to the Russian government an action plan for the development of venture financing for IT companies by the end of September, reports Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation.
«In order to accelerate the pace of creation and launch of domestic competitive software on the market, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Digital Development, together with the Bank of Russia, were instructed to submit to the government by the end of September an action plan for the development of venture financing for Russian IT companies, stimulating the creation of private industry venture funds, including by providing tax benefits,» the message says.
«Mikhail Mishustin proposed to think about launching a special program for financing projects in the field of information technology, which provides benefits for companies, including writing off part of the loan funds. The VEB.RF Corporation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Digital Development,» the message says.
«By September 1, Russia should form lists of typical industry-specific critical information infrastructure facilities, where foreign software products will be replaced by domestic solutions, and specific deadlines for such replacement should be determined,» — The message says.
Specially created industry committees, headed by deputy heads of relevant departments, together with industrial competence centers, which brought together large customers from among industrial enterprises and experienced software developers, will deal with this task.
