YAROSLAVL, June 27 The number of people injured in an accident with a bus in Yaroslavl has grown to 12 people, of which one passenger was hospitalized, the rest need outpatient treatment, reports Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yaroslavl region.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region reported that at about 11.55 at the intersection of Tutaevskoye Highway and Uritsky Street in Yaroslavl, the driver of a regular bus lost control and crashed into a contact network support. Initially, nine people were reported to have been taken to hospital.
«»Currently, 12 passengers were injured in an accident: women, three men and a minor boy born in 2008 need outpatient treatment,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.
The SUSK of Russia in the Yaroslavl region informs that a criminal case has been initiated on the fact of the incident under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers). According to the SUSK, the severity of the harm received by each victim is currently being established.
