MOSCOW, June 27 The LDPR has sent an initiative to abolish income tax on people whose salary is less than 30,000 rubles to the government for conclusion, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky said on his telegram channel.
«The Liberal Democratic Party proposes not to levy income tax on people whose salary is below 30 thousand rubles. Today my initiative was sent to the conclusion to the government. <…> This initiative is one of the program ones. We propose consistent steps to achieve the goal of a multiple increase in the population of Russia,» the publication says.
According to the politician, the state, which «has the most important task of saving people,» is obliged to eliminate poverty.
«We must work to solve this tasks. This is a priority designated by the president. The Russian economy, despite the colossal sanctions pressure, is developing. This makes it possible to implement such particularly significant social initiatives,» Slutsky added.
In the regions, people work for little money, «especially young people who are just starting their career,» and 30,000 rubles is the money that you need to eat, and often rent housing.
