According to him, during the attempted military rebellion, information appeared in the media and telegram channels that officials and businessmen began to fly out of Moscow as the rebels approached the capital, he wrote in a corresponding appeal to the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Alexander Neradko.
«I believe that this information can be disseminated by the intelligence of Western countries and special services in order to destroy confidence in the Russian authorities,» follows from Gusev's letter. According to the deputy, in the current situation, it is necessary to maintain the trust of citizens in the state as much as possible, and this is achieved with the help of open information and timely response to the spread of fakes.
