NIZHNY NOVGOROD, June 29 A ninth-grade student died on the day of the re-examination in the city of Slobodskoy, Kirov Region, said Vladimir Shabardin, the children's rights ombudsman for the region.
Earlier, the Shot telegram channel published information that the body of a ninth-grader was found near the house where he lived with his parents. It was noted that before that he had not passed the OGE in mathematics, and he had to retake.
The children's ombudsman for the Kirov region confirmed the fact of the tragedy to the agency. “Indeed, yesterday the boy, who was finishing the 9th grade, was supposed to retake the OGE in mathematics and graduation … In the morning he got ready to retake the exam, prepared his passport and pens … but he did not appear at the exam point. When I called my mother from there class teacher, she came home and…”, said Shabardin.
He noted that according to available data, the boy showed no signs of anxiety before retaking the exam. “There is a possibility that this is an accident. It’s impossible to say for sure now. Because there were no signs, messages, intentions. — said the children's ombudsman.
He also stressed that «the characteristics of the family are positive — the family is complete, prosperous, it is not registered anywhere and has never been.»
According to the agency in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kirov region, «this fact is being checked, all circumstances are being established.»
