The bishop announced the readiness of the Pope to go to Moscow and Kyiv

MOSCOW, July 1 Pope Francis is ready to visit Moscow and Kiev for the sake of establishing peace, but now this is not possible, Nikolai Dubinin, auxiliary bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of the Mother of God in Moscow, said in an interview.
“The Pontifex – and this word is associated with the “building of bridges” by its origin – declared his readiness to personally go to both Moscow and Kiev for the sake of restoring peace, but this is currently not possible,” said bishop .
Earlier, during his visit to Moscow, the Pope's envoy for settlement in Ukraine, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, met with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Yuri Ushakov, Aide to the President of Russia, and Catholic clergy and the Russian clergy.

Dubinin noted that during the meetings in Moscow, Zuppi discussed «humanitarian issues, including in the field of assistance and protection of victims of the conflict, adults and children.»
