Fontanka: the sign «PMC Wagner Center W» was dismantled from the building of a business center in St. Petersburg

On the building of the business center at the intersection of Far East Avenue and Zolskaya Street in Petersburg, the sign «PMC Wagner Center» was dismantled. This was reported by Fontanka with reference to eyewitnesses.
The business center in the Nevsky district was solemnly opened in November last year. Officially, it was called the «Sea Capital». But due to the large amount of space occupied by the Wagner PMC, they were allowed to place their sign on the building, as well as brand the entrance and the reception.
On June 23, Wagner PMC fighters seized the headquarters building of the Southern Military District in the center of Rostov- on the Don, and also sent a convoy towards Moscow. On the same day, it became known about searches and seizure of equipment in PMC offices, including in the PMC headquarters building in St. Petersburg. Later, the head of the PMC, Prigozhin, held talks with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. As a result, he agreed to return the fighters to field camps. The criminal case previously initiated against Prigozhin was dropped.
On June 26, representatives of the Wagner PMC reported that the St. Petersburg branch continued to operate as usual. And on June 30, they talked about the return of the seized equipment — it occupied the whole KamAZ.
