If the law is passed, recipients of grants both in money and in the form of payment for the cost of travel to and from the venue of events, food and provision of premises for temporary use, will not pay personal income tax (personal income tax) ).
The developers of the document admit that this will lead to the loss of part of the treasury's income, but they emphasize that the money will be used to solve socially significant problems. They note that grants, as a rule, are aimed at developing public initiatives, improving the beautification of the urban environment, as well as helping vulnerable segments of the population, including the elderly.
«Providing the opportunity not to pay taxes on such grants will make it possible to allocate more funds for the implementation of activities in these areas», – consider the authors of the bill. The list of activities for which money is allocated must be agreed upon by the regional government or the representative body of the subject of the Federation.
