MOSCOW, July 4 The exhibition of the Victory Museum «Sunset of the Citadel» will be shown in almost 20 countries, the press service of the institution reports. The project was created for the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk.
«The exposition will be seen in Abkhazia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Moldova, Argentina, France, Jordan, Belgium, Kazakhstan, China, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan,» the press release says .
The exposition contains about 200 materials from the funds of the Museum of Victory.
«These are dozens of photographs of military operations and the heroes of the Battle of Kursk, maps and documents, propaganda posters, drawings by front-line artists, letters, digitized images of personal belongings of the battle participants,» the museum says.
Visitors of Russian houses and Russian centers of science and culture will be able to get acquainted with the exposition. An online format is also planned. For example, on July 5, on the 80th anniversary of the start of the Battle of Kursk, the exhibition will be placed on the RCSC website in Brussels (Belgium), Vienna (Austria) and opened in Baku (Azerbaijan). On July 12, the exposition will be presented by the Center of Russian Culture in Kazakhstan during the event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk.
Earlier it was reported that the Bakhrushinsky Museum opened an exhibition about the ballerina Galina Ulanova in Bulgaria.
