In Novosibirsk, passengers were evacuated from a stopped Ferris wheel

MOSCOW, 6 Jul. The Ferris wheel stalled on Mikhailovskaya Embankment in Novosibirsk, rescuers evacuated seven people, including one child, the press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation said.
«The Ferris wheel stopped on Mikhailovskaya Embankment. There were seven people left in the cabins,» the source said.
According to him, rescuers evacuated three people, including one child, using a three-knee (high-altitude) ladder. Four more were rescued «from captivity» by turning the wheel manually.

«No one was hurt. It took about half an hour for the rescue operation,» the representative of the department concluded.
