MOSCOW, 5 Jul. In Russia, Miyazaki's new animated film «How are you?» will be officially shown online. It will be released on Kinopoisk after being released in cinemas, the press service of the streaming service clarifies.
The release date in Russia will be announced later.
Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki noted that the tape will be Miyazaki's last film. The 82-year-old animator has been working on the film since 2016. He creates one minute a day. Previously, the pace, as indicated in the press release, was faster.
The cartoon is based on the novel by Yoshino Genzaburo. It tells about a 15-year-old schoolboy. After the death of his father, he moves to live with his uncle. Every morning he leaves a note for his nephew.
As noted in «Kinopoisk», the Japanese studio that releases a new project by Miyazaki is sure that the audience is waiting for the tape. Therefore, the picture will not have traditional marketing. The Japanese distributor will not publish any trailer or footage from the cartoon.
The fact that «How are you?» will be released in Russian distribution, it became known on June 20.
