MOSCOW, July 7 Achieving the goals of the special operation is the main thing for the Russian Federation, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said earlier that by autumn the situation in Ukraine should change, perhaps the start of negotiations on a peaceful settlement. Journalists asked Peskov if the Kremlin shared this point of view.
«It is important for us to achieve our goals,» said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, adding that the goals can be achieved in different ways.
He also noted that the Russian side has never closed the door to the negotiation process, but so far there are no prospects for this.
