In Prague, the person involved in the investigation of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Rostislav Zorikov attacked the Viasna activist. The video of the attack was posted on Twitter by Alexei Navalny's associate Maria Pevchikh.
In May, the opposition released an investigation stating that Zorikov, the son-in-law of Boris Obnosov, the head of the Tactical Missiles defense holding, under EU sanctions, owns a 140-meter penthouse in Prague worth about 95 million rubles. After that, the entrance to it was periodically picketed by Russian oppositionists.
Last night Andrey Karelin, an activist of the Vesna movement, used a projector to show the FBK investigation on the wall of Zorikov's house. The owner of the penthouse, according to Pevchikh, drove up in a BMW and, after a brief verbal skirmish, attacked him.
The police arrived at the scene, whose employees advised the victim to “wait until Monday” to write a statement. According to Vesna, in the hospital, the activist was diagnosed with abrasions and bruises.
