According to the data published by Autostat, the share of new cars imported into Russia from abroad in June amounted 53% of total sales. It is noted that in June last year this figure was 26%.
It is noteworthy that experts also separate traditional and parallel imports. It is reported that official deliveries in June accounted for 38%, and parallel — 15%. A year ago, these numbers looked different — 16% were official and 10% — to parallel.
Experts also reported that over the year the share of Russian cars — — from 25% to 32%. Of course, the share of locally assembled foreign cars has fallen dramatically — from 49% to 15%.
