A railway accident occurred in North Ossetia. The Moscow-Vladikavkaz train collided with a truck carrying beer, 60 km short of its destination.
The driver of the truck was hospitalized, one passenger was treated on the spot. The truck, severely damaged in the collision, was removed from the railway track, delaying the departure of the train by 2 hours.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred on Friday at 8:01 Moscow time at a railway crossing in the village of Elkhotovo. To eliminate the consequences of the accident, 11 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and three units of special equipment were involved.
