The Moscow District Court of Nizhny Novgorod sent local resident Alexei Volsky under house arrest. This is reported by OVD-Info with reference to lawyer Kristina Tyurina.
Volsky is accused in the case of «fake» about the army (Part 1 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). Despite the fact that he is a group II disabled person, the investigation asked to be placed in a pre-trial detention center.
The publications on VKontakte became the reason for the criminal prosecution. In particular, the Nizhny Novgorod citizen wrote about those who died as a result of the war with Ukraine and blamed the Russian army and authorities for what was happening. “A lot of dead locals and one devastation. In general, the Russian occupiers and the Russian government itself as a whole are to blame here. They do inhuman things,” one of the posts said.
