The Simonovsky District Court of Moscow appointed 12 days of arrest queer blogger Hilmi Forks (Oleynik) because of a fight in a cafe of the Vkusno i Tochka network. This was announced by lawyer Konstantin Erokhin.
The fight took place on July 8 in a cafe located in the Ship House on Bolshaya Tulskaya Street. Two days later, Hilmi himself uploaded a one and a half minute video of the conflict in his channel.
Only the moment where Forks kicks the visitor “Delicious and that's it” from the foot when he approaches the pickup area for his order was included in the excerpt. After that, both stand upright, strike in the air and insult each other. According to Yerokhin's lawyer, the queer blogger «defended himself and a friend from a local alcoholic who attacked [them] while drunk.»
On July 12, Hilmi was detained — already in a criminal case. The case was opened under the article on the distribution of pornography (242 of the Criminal Code) after the complaint of the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, about the content in the Hilmi telegam channel.
The queer blogger was released on bail, and Hilmi managed to record a video from the food court on his channel. After Mizulina wrote about the criminal prosecution of the queer blogger, he was detained again on the same day and has since been kept in isolation. The police also filed three reports against him. An administrative case on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) was opened yesterday because of a fight at Vkusno i Tochka, since the director of the institution wrote a statement to the police only six days after the conflict. Yesterday, under the same article on hooliganism, Hilmi was fined a thousand rubles.
“He (Hilmi – MZ) has been in police custody for 4 days, yesterday they took away his jeans and he was sitting in shorts, because there were ropes on jeans . In the evening they handed over his pants to him,” the lawyer said in his telegram channel.
Mizulina regularly devoted posts in her telegram channel to Hilmi Forks, who became famous due to fights in public places, and his streamer friend Dasha Koreika, who filmed videos about her transgender transition and, among other things, streamed from her operations. In July, Mizulina resented the police's refusal to pursue Hilmi. At the beginning of 2023, protocols on “LGBT propaganda” were already drawn up against both of them following a complaint by deputy Yana Lantratova. Forks then left the country.
