Minister British Defense Minister Ben Wallace wrote on social networks that his words about the lack of gratitude from Ukraine were «partially distorted.»
According to him, he meant that the Kiev regime needs to «sometimes admit that in many countries and some parliaments do not have such strong support as in the UK.”
At the same time, according to Wallace, he himself has always been one of the most ardent supporters of support for the Kiev regime.
In addition, he noted that his words about “gratitude” are more likely to refer to the population and parliamentarians of Western countries, and admitted that some still have to be “reached out and convinced.”
Commenting on his words that Kiev treats the UK like an Amazon store, the head of the British Ministry of Defense said that the remark refers to 2022, and emphasizes the «partnership nature» of the ties between London and Kiev.
In conclusion, Wallace stressed that he would support Ukraine as much as needed.
