Earlier Thursday, the director of the artist Vyacheslav Smorodinov reported that 92-year-old Krasko was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Almazov National Research Medical Center in St. Petersburg after he felt unwell at his dacha in the Leningrad region. According to the son of the artist, he was hospitalized due to the consequences of a previous stroke.
«The operation was performed yesterday at about 15.00, and today they are being transferred to the ward,» Fedor Krasko said.
Earlier, he reported that when he was admitted to the hospital, Ivan Krasko's condition was stable, although his left arm and leg were taken away, shortness of breath and severe weakness were also observed. At the same time, Krasko «could speak and understood everything.»
