It is noted that Yellen ate 4 servings of such mushrooms in China. Yellen's assistant confirmed the information.
The story says that Yellen visited a Southern Chinese restaurant where one of the dishes was Lanmaoa asiatica mushrooms, which are «considered poisonous because they can be hallucinogenic.» Peter Mortimer, professor at the Kunming Institute of Botany in Yunnan Province, told the TV channel about this.
At the same time, according to the expert, it has not yet been established which element from the fungus provokes a hallucinogenic effect.
