
MOSCOW, July 14 Mayor of Moscow five candidates, seven more have lost the status of a candidate, because they did not provide all the necessary documents, the correspondent reports.
A corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the commission on Friday.
Earlier, the Moscow City Electoral Committee registered five candidates for the election of the mayor of the capital, the first registered on July 10 was the current mayor Sobyanin, then on Wednesday, July 12, the commission registered four more candidates: State Duma Vice Speaker from the Liberal Democratic Party Boris Chernyshov, State Duma Vice Speaker from the New People party Vladislav Davankov, Moscow City Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Leonid Zyuganov and the first deputy chairman of the faction of the Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth party Dmitry Gusev.
As Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Committee Dmitry Reut noted, seven candidates for the post of mayor have not submitted the documents necessary for registration.
«There are, of course, no grounds for registering these candidates. Moreover, let me remind you that a good practice has been formed in Moscow: if the candidates themselves did not voluntarily apply for registration, then we made a decision to lose the status of a candidate,» — Reut said.
By the decision of the commission, they recognized as having lost the status of a candidate: Sergey Zaletin, a leading specialist of the methodological and analytical department of the Yu.A. Also, six self-nominated candidates lost their status: 59-year-old Alexander Gorlov from Saratov, who works as an electrician; 33-year-old Iosif Dzhagaev, who does not have a place of residence in the Russian Federation, who works as the general director of one of the companies; 43-year-old director of a charitable foundation Pavel Novikov; , as well as 47-year-old Zhanna Gorbacheva, the mundep of the Moscow district of Northern Tushino and the general director of one of the Moscow companies of Alexander Tishchenko.
