Schlumberger oilfield services corporation announced the termination of supplies of products and technologies to Russia. This was reported on the company's website.
A Schlumberger press release states that this is “a response to the expansion of international sanctions” against Russia due to the war in Ukraine.
Schlumberger is the world's largest supplier of technologies for well construction, production and processing of hydrocarbons. The company has been operating in Russia since 1929 and cooperated with Gazprom and Rosneft.
In March last year, the corporation stopped investing and introducing technologies into its work in Russia.
