VLADIVOSTOK, July 14 The Primorsky State Art Gallery in Vladivostok has received new exhibition equipment purchased as part of a national project, the regional government reports.
«More than 13 million rubles were allocated from the regional and federal budgets for the purchase of modern climatic showcases. The new equipment will improve the quality of services provided to the population, expand the possibilities for presenting exhibits during various exhibitions,» the Primorsky Territory Ministry of Culture and Archival Affairs said.
Showcases made by Russian companies were purchased under the regional project «Cultural Environment» of the national project «Culture». You can assemble a complete structure from them, depending on the exposition, but also showcases can be used as free-standing elements. They are made of clarified safety glass, they are equipped with hidden high security locks.
The new equipment is equipped with lamps that allow you to adjust the illumination of the exhibits depending on their light sensitivity. Also, the required level of humidity is maintained in the showcases due to the tightness of the structure and climatic cassettes.
Earlier this year, the gallery acquired a robot, which became the first museum android in the Far East. He conducts tours, talks about the exhibits, and then you can ask him questions and chat. The robot was named Plato.
According to the authorities, 3.3 billion rubles have been allocated to finance culture in the region this year, including more than 2.5 billion rubles from the regional budget.
The national project «Culture», which was launched in 2019 at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, aims to ensure the availability of cultural events. In Primorye, this is achieved, among other things, through the implementation of the Arseniev Card project launched on the initiative of Governor Oleg Kozhemyako: schoolchildren aged 6-13 can visit cultural institutions free of charge. The project was initially attended by children attending school camps in Vladivostok. On July 1, they were joined by schoolchildren from the Artemovsky urban district and the Nadezhdinsky municipal district. From September, children from all other municipalities of the region will be able to do this. The main goal of the Arseniev Map project is to promote the historical heritage of the region.
