MOSCOW, Jul 16 Former England captain David Beckham, part of the Inter Miami owners group, welcomed Argentinean Lionel Messi to the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) club.
Beckham on Instagram (Meta activity (social networks Facebook and Instagram) banned in Russia as extremist) posted a joint photo with Messi and called him the greatest athlete of all time.

Inter Miami announced the transfer of Messi on Saturday. The agreement with the 36-year-old forward runs until the end of the 2025 season. Team owner Jorge Mas has revealed that Messi will make his debut for Inter Miami on July 21 in a League Cup match against Mexico's Cruz Azul.
Earlier, the French «Paris Saint-Germain» announced the departure of Messi at the end of the season due to the expiration of the contract.
